Mother's Day

[Ashley had been mostly in and out of the library and  been very quiet, Mostly waiting for the school year to start and trying to get a head start on her classes. She was in her dorm room when she glanced at the calender. Mother's Day. She had not done much for Mother's Day over the years, maybe give Jessica a card as a 'Thank you for taking care of me' type thing or go visit her mother's grave but that was about it.. She hadn't done anything for the past few years, Mostly out of misplaced anger.

With that in mind she turned to the framed photo of her mother and looked it over, speaking softly, "Mom...I know we didn't have much time toghter..but..Happy Mother's Day....I miss you...I know you are watching over me and everything but...I still wish I could talk to you one more time...Heh..I guess everyone wishes that. Either way, Happy Mother's Day Mom....I love you.."

With that, she pulled up her e-mail and sent a quick email to Jessica-

Jessica-

Happy Raise your Niece day! I'm kidding! If you want to, head on up and I can show you around FDC for the day. I promise, nothing weird will happen! If not, I'll call you later on tonight.

With that she shut of the computer and heads back out to the Libary, starting to study up once more]
